Do you take vision insurance?+
We are in-network with VSP, EyeMed, and Davis Vision for exams. We are out-of-network for materials (frames and lenses), but we provide superbills.
Are your frames really independent?+
Yes. We do not stock Luxottica, Safilo, Marchon, or Kering. Every brand we carry is independently owned. Our buying philosophy is on the about page.
How long does it take to make my glasses?+
Single vision typically 7-10 days. Progressives 10-14 days. Specialty prisms or high prescriptions can take 3 weeks.
Do you do warranty repairs?+
Yes, on any frame purchased from us. Free adjustments forever. Free nose-pad replacement forever. Manufacturer warranty on hinges and frames.
What about emergency eye care?+
Call us first thing in the morning. We hold two same-day urgent slots per day. After hours, we direct urgent issues to NY Eye and Ear ER.
