Engine diagnostics

Factory-grade scan tools, real road tests, and a written diagnosis you can take to any shop, before we touch a wrench.

When a check-engine light comes on, most chain shops read the code and guess. We pull live data, run a road test with the scan tool connected, and write up exactly what we found, what we think is happening, and what it will cost to confirm. The diagnostic fee is credited back to the repair if you have us do the work.

Brakes

Pads, rotors, calipers, and brake fluid service using OE-quality parts, with a free brake inspection on every visit.

Brake jobs are where corner-cutting hurts the most. We use OE-quality pads (Akebono, Bosch, or factory) and machined or new rotors depending on thickness. Every brake service includes a fluid moisture test and a 12-month warranty on labor plus the standard nationwide parts warranty.

Scheduled maintenance

Factory-interval service that protects your warranty, with a digital inspection report and photos sent to your phone.

We follow your manufacturer's maintenance schedule, not a generic upsell list. Every visit includes a 56-point inspection with photos so you can see what we see. We will tell you what is urgent, what can wait, and what is fine for another year.

Batteries & electrical

Starting, charging, and electrical diagnosis for everything from a dead battery to a parasitic draw on a modern hybrid.

Electrical problems are where guessing gets expensive. We test the battery, alternator, and starter under load, isolate parasitic draws with a current clamp, and trace wiring with proper diagrams. We do not replace parts hoping the problem goes away.

Heating & A/C

R-134a and R-1234yf recovery, evacuation, and recharge with leak detection that finds the real problem the first time.

We do not blindly recharge a system that is leaking. Every A/C job starts with a dye and electronic leak inspection, a pressure test, and a written estimate before any parts are ordered. We service both R-134a and the newer R-1234yf systems in-house.

Tires & alignment

We can match or beat Tire Rack pricing on most popular sizes, install on the same day, and finish with a four-wheel alignment on the Hunter Hawkeye Elite. Road-force balancing comes standard on every tire over $200 each.

Pre-purchase inspection

A 95-point inspection with a written report and photos before you hand over money for a used car, anywhere in Boulder County.

We will pick up the vehicle from any Boulder County dealer or private seller, run a 95-point mechanical and cosmetic inspection, pull a scan report, and send you a full PDF with photos before you sign anything. Often the report saves buyers thousands.

Hybrid & EV service

12V auxiliary service, brake systems, suspension, and cabin work on Prius, RAV4 Hybrid, Bolt, Leaf, Model 3 and Model Y.

Two of our technicians are HV-certified. We service hybrid and EV brakes, suspension, tires, alignments, 12V batteries, cabin filters, and accessory issues, often at half the dealer rate. We do not pretend to service high-voltage drive components those go to the dealer.
