Why clients pick us
We brew six lagers a year, four IPAs, and let everything else move with the season. Lagers get six to eight weeks. We do not rush.
The taproom runs on Carolina Solar, our spent grain feeds a hog farmer in Madison County, and our packaging is fully aluminum and recyclable.
Three founding owners sold a controlling stake to our staff in 2023 through a real ESOP. Eleven employees, eleven owners.

What clients say
“Showed up exactly when they said they would, did the job for the price they quoted, no surprises. First time that has happened to us with a craft brewery & taproom business in a long time.”
Greta H.
Asheville, NC resident
“We have used Steel Bend three times now and recommended them to half our block. They are honest, communicative, and the work is solid.”
Marc D.
Long-time client
“I called four other places before Steel Bend. They were the only one to actually pick up, the only one to come out for free, and the only one to put a real number in writing.”
Jules R.
New client
“Professional, on time, fair, and they cleaned up after. The bar should not be that low, but it is, and they clear it.”
