Services

Everything we do, in plain language.

Below is the full menu of what we do, what it typically costs, and how to schedule it. If something is not on this list, call us and ask, we probably do it too.

Steel Bend Pils

A bright, herbal German pilsner. Six weeks lagering. 4.8% ABV, 38 IBU. Year round on tap.

Riverside IPA

$7 / 12 oz

A clean modern IPA, Citra and Mosaic dry-hopped. 6.5% ABV, balanced and bitter, not a milkshake.

Cold Ridge Schwarzbier

Roasty, dry, lightly hopped black lager. 4.9% ABV. The dark beer for people who say they do not like dark beer.

Foeder Saison

$10 / 8 oz

Mixed fermentation saison aged 14 months in a 600 liter foeder. Funky, dry, lemon peel. Limited release, on tap when we say so.

Spring Bock

$8 / 12 oz

Released first weekend of March every year. A traditional doppelbock, lagered ten weeks. 7.5% ABV.

House Cold Brew Stout

$7 / 12 oz

Brewed once a year in October with cold brew from Mountain Air Roasting next door. 6.2% ABV, on tap through January.

Crowler & six-pack to go

From $14

Most beers available in 32oz crowlers ($14-18) and four-packs ($16-22) from the taproom cooler.

How we work

Four steps, every job.

01

Mill & mash

We mill on a Apollo two-roller every morning and mash in on a Premier Stainless 10 bbl steam-fired brewhouse.

02

Ferment cold, ferment long

Lagers ferment cold for six to ten weeks. IPAs ferment 14 days and dry hop for three. We do not rush.

03

Package & serve

All beer is canned in our taproom on a Wild Goose duo or sold direct from the brite tank to the taproom.

04

Drink it fresh, locally

We self-distribute inside Buncombe County only. Most of our beer is poured within 600 feet of the brewhouse.

Our promises

What you get with every job.

Lager-forward, IPA-balanced

We brew six lagers a year, four IPAs, and let everything else move with the season. Lagers get six to eight weeks. We do not rush.

100% renewable taproom

The taproom runs on Carolina Solar, our spent grain feeds a hog farmer in Madison County, and our packaging is fully aluminum and recyclable.

Employee-owned since 2023

Three founding owners sold a controlling stake to our staff in 2023 through a real ESOP. Eleven employees, eleven owners.
