Six years in Asheville bar management. Built our 24-tap rotation, food truck program, and weekly trivia night.

FAQ
Questions we get all the time.
Do you serve food?+
We have a rotating food truck Tuesday through Sunday. Outside food is also welcome, every day. We never charge a corkage fee on food.
Are kids and dogs welcome?+
Both, until 9pm. Dogs on leashes inside and out. A kid menu is up at the taproom counter.
Can I rent the taproom?+
Yes. We host private events on Mondays (taproom is otherwise closed) for groups of 30 to 130. Pricing on the events page.
Do you distribute?+
Self-distribution within Buncombe County only. You can find us at Tina's, The Admiral, Cucina 24, Vivian, and Cucumber Vine, among others.
Are you really employee owned?+
Yes. We restructured to a real ESOP (S-corp) in 2023. Anyone employed by Steel Bend for over one year holds vested ownership.
