About
A firm built on one conviction.

Margaret Brevard, CFP®, CFA
Founder and Managing Principal
Margaret Brevard, CFP, CFA
Twenty-two years. One firm. One standard.
Margaret founded Brevard Wealth Partners in 2009 after a decade at two of the largest wirehouses on Wall Street, where she watched too many clients receive a portfolio without ever being asked about their lives. The final straw was a client who was sold an annuity he did not need by an advisor who was paid more for selling it.
She started the firm with a conviction that has not changed: planning belongs in front of the portfolio, advice should not be paid for by the products it recommends, and the same advisor a family meets on day one should still be at the table thirty years later. Brevard has grown entirely through referrals because that conviction shows up in the work.
Today, Brevard serves 187 client families across the Carolinas and the Southeast. Margaret personally manages every relationship and takes every initial meeting. The firm is deliberately small, and it will stay that way.

The planning team
The people behind every plan.
Every Brevard client works directly with a principal. There are no handoffs to junior staff. When tax season arrives, Daniel is already at the table. The coordination that most firms charge extra for is simply how we work.
Margaret Brevard, CFP®, CFA
Founder and Managing Principal
Margaret founded Brevard Wealth Partners in 2009 after a decade at two of the largest wirehouses, where she watched too many clients receive a portfolio without ever being asked about their lives. She holds the CFP® and CFA designations and brings 22 years of experience to every client relationship. She personally manages every client account and takes every initial meeting.
Daniel Osei, CPA, CFP®
Director of Financial Planning
Daniel joined Brevard in 2016 after eight years in public accounting, where he specialized in high-net-worth individual and trust taxation. He leads the firm's tax coordination work and serves as the primary point of contact for CPA partnerships. His dual background in tax and financial planning is rare, and it shows in the depth of the plans he builds.

Client perspective
In their own words.
"After our son was born we finally got serious about getting our finances in order. Brevard did not make us feel behind. They just helped us build a plan."
T. & A. Park
Dual-income family, client since 2020
"I had three advisors before Margaret. None of them ever showed me a written plan. I thought that was just how it worked. It is not."
C. Drummond
Attorney, client since 2015
"We have a complicated picture: a family business, deferred compensation at a public company, and parents we are helping support. Brevard holds all of it together."
S. & M. Okafor
Business owners, client since 2017
