Meet your therapist
Therapeutic skill with a calm, grounded presence.
Wildroot is intentionally small. Every session is shaped by Sasha, a licensed massage therapist who believes bodywork should feel specific, respectful, and never rushed.

Meet the therapist
Sasha Whitfield, LMT
Founder of Wildroot · Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist
Sasha came to bodywork after a decade in restaurant kitchens left her body asking for a different kind of life. She trained at the East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland and has spent the last eight years building a practice grounded in attentive, unhurried touch.
Her style blends Swedish flow, slow deep tissue, and a deep respect for the nervous system. She holds a specialty certification in perinatal massage and has completed over 300 continuing education hours in trauma-informed and craniosacral techniques. She works with everyone from new parents and desk workers to climbers and ultra runners.

Inside the studio
A space designed to slow you down.
Studio C is a single, private room on the second floor of a quiet building on NW Wall Street in downtown Bend. It was designed from the ground up around one idea: that bodywork deserves more than a dim light and a hurried hour.
There is one table, one set of linens warming before you arrive, and one person who will be with you from the moment you walk in. You will never be rushed through, overlapped with another client, or handed off.
- Single treatment room, one client at a time
- Hydraulic lift table for easy access
- Street-level entry with wide-door accessibility
- Fragrance-free base environment, aromatherapy on request

Our philosophy
Four quiet rules we will never break.
Listen first
Every session starts with a conversation. What brought you in, what has helped before, and what to avoid this time. We adapt to you, not the other way around.
Pressure is a conversation
We check in throughout every session. You will never need to white-knuckle through something that is too deep or too light. Feedback always changes the work.
The whole nervous system is in the room
We work with awareness of how the body holds stress, not just where the muscles are tight. Bodywork that ignores the nervous system is just mechanical.
One client, one room, full attention
Wildroot is a single therapist, single room studio. There is no waiting, no handoffs, and no one else in the building during your session.
Client stories
In their own words.
“I have had a lot of massages over the years and this is genuinely the best bodywork I have ever received. Sasha listens, adjusts, and somehow always finds the exact spot.”
Hannah M.
Monthly client
“The studio feels like a small sanctuary. I walked in carrying a week of laptop tension and walked out feeling like a different person.”
Devin O.
First time client
“I was nervous about prenatal massage and Sasha put me completely at ease. The bolstering was perfect and I slept better that night than I had in months.”
Priya R.
Prenatal client, 30 weeks
“I climb four days a week and my forearms had been wrecked for months. Two deep tissue sessions in and I am sending projects I had written off.”
Marco L.
Climber and trail runner
“I started coming in for migraines and stayed because my whole body just works better when I see Sasha regularly. Three years later, I do not think I will ever stop.”
Keiko S.
Client since 2022
“The craniosacral work surprised me. I came in skeptical and left feeling quieter in my head than I had in years. It is hard to explain but easy to feel.”
