Roasted in Portland, every Tuesday.

Specialty coffee, roasted small, roasted slow, roasted here.

Three things we care about

Coffee is cheap. Good coffee is not.

Roasted Tuesday, shipped Wednesday

We roast every Tuesday morning on our 1980 Probat UG-22. Orders placed by Monday at 4p ship the next day. Nothing sits on the shelf.

Direct trade where it works

We have direct relationships with seven farms across Colombia, Guatemala, and Ethiopia. We pay an average of 142% over the C-market price.

Specialty grade, no exceptions

Every green we buy cups at 84+ on the SCA scale. We taste blind before we contract. We have walked away from cheaper coffee more times than we have bought it.

On the current roast list

Eight coffees, rotating with the harvest.

What people say

Subscribers, regulars, wholesale partners.

I have ordered North Field for three years straight now, and I have not had a single bag that disappointed me. The roasting consistency is unreal.

Greta H.

Subscriber since 2023

We switched our restaurant to North Field two years ago. Sales of coffee tripled. The cupping notes on the menu are not for show; people taste them.

Marc D.

Otto's, Bath

The Suke Quto is the closest thing to a religious experience I have had with a cup of coffee. Order it, brew it in a V60.

Jules R.

Local regular

Addy roasted side by side with me when I worked at Stumptown a decade ago. She was the best then, and she is the best now. North Field is a gem.
